ぽんぽん簪
江戸の頃の簪で、ビラビラ簪と呼ばれたものがある。これは簪に銀などで鎖をつけその先に小さな飾りを吊るして、歩くと互いにふれあいチャラチャラと可愛らしい音がしたもので、その様子をビラビラと呼ぶことからこの名前がついた。

これにインスパイアされ、私は簪にすーと長い鎖をつけ真珠を１個だけさげた。歩くと、ぽんぽんと首を振るように動く。ビラビラ簪へのオマージュとしてぽんぽん簪と名付けた。

Pom-Pom
During the Edo period, there was a type of hairpin called “Bila-Vila.”
It is a silver chain with small dangling ornaments. As the wearer walked, the ornaments dangled and produced a lovely sound, giving the hairpin its name.
Inspired by this, I designed a modern version with an extra-long chain suspending a single pearl, creating a gentle swaying motion as one walks. I named it “Pom-Pom” as a homage to “Bila-Vila.
