しらたま
白珠と名付けた簪。
他の簪よりすーと長く、大きめの歪んだ真珠がついている。
かつて万葉の頃、真珠は『しらたま』とよばれた。簪本体の直線と真珠の有機的な形が美しい。

Shiratama
This hair ornament is named “Shiratama”.
It’s so long er than the others, attached distorted large pearl. Pearls were called “Shiratama” during the Manyo period. (710-194)
A Long straight line stick with the organic shape of pearl is alluring.
