真珠扇子
古代、扇子の始まりは檳榔の葉で、この檳榔は神様とされる。真珠は万葉の頃、美しい人の例えであり、魂そのものでもあり、しらたまと呼ばれた。これらの古代からの物語を引き継ぎ、森羅万象を表現する扇子を、真珠和紙で作った。いにしえの美しく優しい風をよび、あこや真珠貝が、微かな一瞬の輝きをきらりと見せてくれる。まるで、光を招く真珠扇子だ。

Pearl Fan
In ancient times, the fan originated as a betel nut leaf, which was the symbol of the gods. Pearls were called shiratama, a metaphor for a beautiful person and the soul itself, during the Manyo period (710-794)
Drawing from these ancient stories, I created a Pearl Fan using pearl washi paper, designed to express everything in the universe. This fan carries with it the gentle breezes of the past, allowing us to glimpse a faint moment of brilliance—like pearls inviting light.
